In the notebooks Donald Gunn gives his address in London as 40 Dover Street, W1, the address of the Arts Club. He is presumably the Dr. Donald Gunn who was a member of the Arts Club and gave the same address in 1903 when he donated several African artefacts from the Southern Sudan to the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford.
