Johnson, Myron A.

Myron A. Johnson, B.S. (1942), Iowa State University in animal husbandry, breeder of Holstein cattle. Johnson was a member of the Holstein-Friesian Association of America and developed the John-Acre prefix. The Iowa Meritorious Sire award was given to one of Johnson's herd in 1948. He later developed three silver medal sires before going to the use of bulls and show cattle at county, district, and state shows. Johnson held numerous offices in professional Holstein breeders' associations at the county and district level. He currently resides in Boone, Iowa.
