Ramsay, George
Variant namesGeorge Ramsay 9th Earl of Dalhousie was born at Dalhousie Castle, Scotland in October 1770. After serving in the Peninsular wars he took up the post of Colonial governor on Nova Scotia in 1816. He died in 1838.
