Dorcy, Gladys.
Mrs. Gladys Dorcy was a patroness of the 1st Cavalry Division and wife of Colonel Ben Dorcy of the 7th United States (U.S.) Cavalry Regiment.

Mrs. Gladys Dorcy was a patronness of the 1st Cavalry Division and wife of Colonel Ben Dorcy of the 7th United States Cavalry Regiment. Mrs. Dorcy designed the shoulder sleeve (patch) insignia for the 1st Cavalry Division in 1920 which is still worn today (1999).
