James A. Beaver (1840-1863) was a volunteer in the Iowa Infantry during the Civil War.

James A. Beaver (1840-1863) was a volunteer in the Iowa Infantry during the Civil War.

He married Rachel Ann Cecil and had one daughter, Idella Louise Beaver. He was wounded at the Battle of Helena, July 4 1853, and died shortly thereafter of his injuries.
