Minnesota Northern Railroad Company.
Authorized in 1875 and incorporated in 1878 under the state laws of Minnesota, the company built a line from Fergus Falls to Wadena, Minnesota. Its name was changed to Northern Pacific, Fergus and Black Hills Railroad Company in 1881.
