Thomas, William Frederick 1911-1987
Utah native William F. Thomas received college training at University of Southern California and Harvard University. He became licensed Utah architect in 1939 and practiced until his death in 1987. During his career he associated with following architectural firms: Pope and Burton (eventually becoming partner in firm); Five Associates, Architects and Engineers; Pope and Thomas (his partner being Theodore R. Pope, son of previously mentioned Pope); Wm. Frederick Thomas, Architect (working alone); and Thomas, Peterson, Hammond, and Associates (where he worked with his son Timothy). Thomas was participating architect in Church's standard plan design program in 1950s and 1960s.
