David Anderson, native of Sweden, immigrated to the United States in 1903 and operated photography studios in Hawley, Minn., Cooperstown, Aneta and Mayville, N.D. before moving to Fargo circa 1924. He practiced photography in Fargo until the mid-1940s when he apparently moved to Maryland and later Oregon where he died in 1962 at Medford.
