Joseph Edward Raycroft was the Chairman of Princeton University's Department of Health and Physical Education from 1911 until his retirement in 1936. During this time he made many important contributions to Princeton, including the development of a comprehensive student health program, the construction of the new Isabella McCosh Infirmary, and broadening the participation in intramural athletics to include some ninety percent of Princeton's student body.
