The Educational Research Methodology Department specializes in educational measurement and psychometrics, research design, program and policy evaluation studies, educational statistics, and the application of research methodology to address educational questions. Since its founding in 1968 by Dr. Bert Goldman, it has offered a Master's degree in Educational Research and Evaluation. A Doctorate degree program was created after 1992. In 1980, the Center for Educational Research and Evaluation was established with the purpose of providing educational research, development, and evaluation services to public and private agencies.
