Jackson, W. W. (Will Woodward)

W. W. Jackson was Chair of the Texas State Board of Education from 1959 to 1969. In addition to serving on the Board for twenty years, he was a well-known San Antonio educator, civic leader, and Methodidt Layman. Jackson was president of Westmoorland College, later called the University of San Antonio. His significant library (the Jackson-Greenwood Collections) was donated to his alma mater, Southweastern University.
