Angelo Heilprin Expedition to the Dominican Republic (1922)
The expedition was led by Dr. Gladwyn Kingsley Noble and had the support of the U.S. Marines stationed in Santo Domingo and of the Guardia Nacional Dominica. The expedition was sponsored by the Angelo Heilprin Expedition Fund and the Jesup Fund.
