"The Discerning Eye," an exhibition of art treasures held at the Fogg Art Museum from October 9 to November 24, 1974, consisted of works collected by Radcliffe alumnae, "demonstrating their understanding and support of the visual arts". The works of art included paintings, sculpture, drawings, prints, illuminated manuscripts and decorative arts ranging from 1991 B.C. to the present. Six symposia were also held at the Fogg Art Museum between October 11 and November l5, 1974.
