Sprod, Dan, 1924-
Variant namesPublisher, author, historian, bookseller and librarian. Sprod held senior positions in the National Library (1951-66) and was University Librarian at he University of Tasmania (1966-75). He was founder and manager of the Blubber Head Press (1978-91) and owner of Astrolabe Books in Hobart.
