Machine manufacturer for the automotive, airplane, canning, and nuclear industries.
John Barnes formed a partnership with his brother in 1872 which became the W.F. and John Barnes Company in 1884. The company grew and prospered until after the Korean War. In 1963, it was sold to the Babcox and Wilcox company.
