Biographical note: Buffalo soldier; Lott Brockman enlisted in the 24th Infantry, U. S. Army in 1912 from Baltimore, Maryland where he was employed as an iron moulder. He served with both the 24th and 25th Infantry Regiments and was stationed in Douglas, Arizona from 1923 until his death in 1929. He served overseas in World War I. In Douglas, he also joined the Olympia Lodge of Masons from 1925 to 1927.
