Povarnitsin, Prokopy, 1883-1986.
Born and educated in Russia, Father Povarnitzin served in Siberia until forced to emigrate to China in 1919. He came to America in 1929 and served in parishes in Alaska, Canada and throughout the U.S. until his retirement in 1967.
