Schacht, Martin
Architect and engineer Martin Schacht was the son of Portland, Oregon architect Emil Schacht. The younger Schacht served as manager of the Foundation Company of America, supervising construction of the Port of Astoria, Oregon, and later working for the company in San Francisco, where his projects included bridge construction. He returned to Portland in the late 1920s and died there in 1933.
