Harry Perison (1928-1983) was Associate Professor of Music at the Pennsylvania State University (1967-1983). He completed a doctoral degree while on sabbatical at the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester with the dissertation Charles Wakefield Cadman: his life and works (1978). He previously worked for the Eastman Kodak Company, 1952-1967.
