De Nunzio, Edna, 1905-1985.
Edna de Nunzio sang with the San Francisco Opera beginning in its very first season in 1923.
She then became a protege of the famed soprano Gina Cigna and went on to sing in the major European opera houses. She took many stage names, among them Laura Vetta, Anna de Nunzio, and Nerina Ferrari.
