De Quincey, Florence Elizabeth, 1827-1903, afterwards Bairdsmith
Florence De Quincey, daughter of Thomas de Quincey, married Richard Baird Smith (Indian Army, in ODNB) in 1856 and was widowed in 1861. In census returns she refers to her family as Smith, but her death is regsitered as Bairdsmith and she signs her letters in that form.
