Henderson, Lesly Walter, 1887-1970.
Lesly Walter Henderson (no 2669) enlisted on 13 July 1915, served as a private and then Lance Corporal with the 7th and 22nd Battalions, and was repatriated to Australia on 24 January 1918. Born at Mount Torrens, South Australia in 1887, he was a fireman with the Victorian Railways before he enlisted. He died in Sept. 1970 at Heidelberg Hospital, Vic. having been incapacitated ever since he arrived home from the war.
