Adcock, Clarence L. (Clarence Lionel), 1895-1967
Variant namesClarence Lionel Adcock (1895-1967) was a U.S. Military Academy graduate and a veteran of World War II. He served as the Director of the Office of Military Government for the U.S. Zone in Germany from 1945 to 1946, and was the Deputy Military Governor for Operations and Deputy to the Commanding General of the same office from April to October 1946. He then served as the U.S. Chairman in the Bipartite Control Office of the Military Government in Germany from 1948 until his retirement from active duty in 1949.
