Arthur William Crawley-Boevey (b. 1845), barrister-at-law; John Jeremiah Daniell (c. 1818-1898), vicar of Langley-Burrell, Wiltshire; Francis John Henry Jenkinson (1853-1923), Cambridge University Librarian; Augustus Jessopp (1823-1914), headmaster of the King Edward VI Grammar School, Norwich; Francis Lewis Shaw Merewether (b. 1811), chancellor of Sydney University; Henry Robert Merewether (b. 1816), vicar of East Peckham; and Brinsley Nicholson (1824-1892), scholar.
John Donne (1572-1631), poet and divine, was ordained in 1615, and became chaplain to James I. He was divinity reader at Lincoln's Inn, and dean of St Paul's, 1621-1631.
