Wright, William B. (William Bull), 1840-1880
Variant namesPhysician and poet. Born in Orange County, N.Y., 20 Sept. 1840. Graduated from the College of New Jersey and the New York College of Physicians and Surgeons. Taught at Buffalo State Normal School, 1859-1862; served in the 5th New York Artillery, 1862-1865. Practiced medicine in Orange County, 1871-1878. Author of Highland Rambles (1868) and The Brook and Other Poems (1873). Died in Atlanta, Ga., 29 Mar. 1880.
