Cason, Turner Zeigler, 1886-1968
Variant namesDr. T.Z. Cason was a Florida physician who graduated from UF in 1908. In 1932, he began running graduate short courses in Florida and was instrumental in creating the first Department of Medicine in the UF Graduate School, and later the College of Medicine. In 1956, he began running the continuing medical education program for the new College of Medicine.
