Coel, Margaret 1937-
Variant namesMargaret Coel was born in Colo. in 1937. She attended Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wis. and lived in Alaska before returning to Colo. Coel has worked as a reporter for the Boulder Daily Camera, Westminster Journal and the Milwaukee Tribune. She has written both fiction and non-fiction and is well known for her Wind River mystery series. Coel also received acclaim for her biography of an Arapaho Chief and history of the Arapahos in Colorado, "Chief Left Hand" (1981).
