Thomson, Alexander, 1817-1875
Variant namesProfessor A.M. Thomson, D.Sc. was appointed in 1866 as Reader in geology and mineralogy, and Demonstrator in practical chemistry, in the University of Sydney. He was accorded the title of Professor in 1869 and died in 1871.
