Bruce family.
Represented in the collection are Charles Bruce (1826-1896) of "Staunton Hill," Charlotte County, Va., and Richmond, Va., who served in the Virginia Senate; his wife Sarah Alexander (Seddon) Bruce (1829-1907); and their son Charles Morelle Bruce (1853-1938), secretary of the Arizona Territory and Assistant Commissioner of the U.S. General Land Office.
