Francis Fullerton was born on March 10, 1849 and entered the Jesuit novitiate at Frederick, Md., on Aug. 1, 1868. In 1873 he began his studies at Woodstock College of Maryland, followed by Boston College, Chestnut Hill, Mass. (1876), College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, Mass. (1877-1878), and Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. (1879). He returned to Woodstock College in 1880 and was ordained to the priesthood in 1882. During the following 18 years Fr. Fullerton taught at St. Peter's College, Jersey City, N.J., Loyola College, Baltimore, Md., and Boston College. In 1901 he was assigned to St. Inigoes, Saint Mary's County, Md., and served there until his death at Georgetown on Oct. 23, 1904.
