Rancher, postmaster, balladeer.
Gail Gardner was born in Prescott, Arizona, in 1892. After graduation from Dartmouth and service in World War One, he returned to Prescott and has resided there ever since. In addition to ranching, he served as Postmaster of the Prescott Post Office for some 20 years. He is also one of Arizona's recognized "balladeers" and has had published Orejana Bull, a book of his verses.
