Strauss, Simon D.
Variant namesSimon David Strauss (1911- ), a metals expert who was born in Peru and raised in Chile, joined the sales department of American Smelting and Refining Company (Asarco) in 1946, and became the company's vice chairman in 1977. He also served on Asarco's board of directors from 1953-1981.
