Sandvig, Earl D., 1898-1994.
Born in May 1898, Sandvig began his career as a grazing assistant in Montana. By 1944 he was the Assistant Regional Forester for Region 2, which encompasses Colorado and Wyoming. In 1951 Sandvig was transferred to a Forest Service position in Oregon where he remained after his retirement; he died in February 1994.
