Dienemann, Max, 1875-1939
Variant namesBorn in Krotoschin (now Krotoszyn, Poland) on September 30, 1875, Dienemann studied at the University of Breslau and the Juedisch-theologisches Seminar, Breslau, receiving his doctorate and rabbinical ordination in 1898. He served as rabbi in Ratibor and Offenbach until his emigration to Palestine in 1938. He died in Tel Aviv on April 10, 1939.
