Bronson, Anna Dorothy Mason, 1830-1910.

Anna Dorothy Mason was a native of Grafton, New Hampshipre. Having completed public school, she studied the classics at the Thetford Academy in Vermont. In 1851 the Mason family was facing financial problems, and Anna Dorothy left the academy to get a job at a cotton mill in Manchester, New Hampshire. She worked at the Manchester Corporation and Amoskeag Corporation until 1856, when she married William D. Bronson and moved to Greensborough, Vermont where she resided until her death in 1910.
