Paul Billingsley (1887-1962) worked as a geologist and mine examiner in the United States and South America from 1910-1924. From 1925 on, he was a consultant to mining and smelting companies. Most of his work was in the western and northwestern United States and British Columbia. Billingsley had numerous published papers on ore deposition and structures, some written in collaboration with Augustus Locke.
