Mather Gallery
Variant namesThe Black Folk Art in Cleveland exhibition was presented in 1984 by the Mather Gallery of Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. The exhibit was the result of a search for Cleveland's African American folk artists and the works created by them. It featured folk artists Peggy Davenport, Reverend Albert Wagner, Ruby Hall, Helen Dobbins, Jim Moss, Mickey Towns, Benjamin Collins, Perkine Lard, Marcella Welch, Nick Biggins, and J.D. Harmon.
