A cornerstone was laid for the present church on October 3, 1937, and first services were held there in the spring of 1939. Ground was broken for an education wing on April 29, 1956. The original parsonage was built on 1414 – 2nd avenue North and later sold to Rev. Lunde, where his family resided for many years after his pastorate.
