Materials preserved by Kathryn Kemp, who taught at Lafayette School, Stockton, Calif. and helped found Troop 8 at that location. Kemp began scrapbook (1936) as troop leader, later was president of Girl Scout Leaders Association (1946). After 1945, Kemp invited many Stockton troops to add materials to scrapbook until she retired (1956).
