The Office of Community and Regional Affairs, formerly known as the Office of Community and State Affairs, acts as a liaison between Princeton University and county and local governments. The CRA office also oversees a variety of programs geared towards strengthening ties between the University and the surrounding communities, including a continuing education program for area residents, a non-credit auditing program, and a surplus equipment program which provides local nonprofit organizations with furniture and equipment that the University no longer utilizes.
