Clarke family.
Clarke family of Henrico county and Richmond, Va. Represented are John Sallé Clarke (1788-1829) and his son Augustus Burfoot Clarke (1818-1898), a teacher who spent most of his adult life establishing and running a hardware business and who was heavily involved with the Baptist Church.
