Rhode, Robert David, 1911-
A native of Texas, Robert David Rhode (1911-) received his bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. In addition to teaching English at Texas A & M University-Kingsville, Rhode also authored several novels as well as The Function of Setting in the American Short Story of Local Color, 1865-1900 (1975).
