Born June 12, 1914 on Boham Farm in Elkhart, Illinois. For 44 years he served as an Elementary School Teacher, Principal, Central School District Office Administrator and a College Professor. In retirement he served as church secretary for 15 years. For 35 years he has been an active member of the Macon County Historical Society and served as the President of the society. His interview covered his educational career, connections to Governor Richard J. Oglesby's Family, history of Elkhart and Decatur, his reflections on well known national and state political leaders, and his awards received.
