Neal-Marshall Alumni Club
Variant namesOrganized at Indiana University in 1977 to encourage the participation of African-American graduates in alumni affairs. The club's purpose is to address the needs of black students, alumni, faculty, and staff. Major activities have been sponsoring an annual reunion and promoting a black culture center on the Bloomington campus. It was named for the earliest male and female African-American graduates of Indiana University, Marcellus Neal and Frances Marshall Eagleson.
