Irish poet and literary editor.

Gerald Dawe was born in Belfast in 1952. He worked for a brief time as a librarian before moving on to Galway in 1974 where he lived and worked for many years. Dawe is a founding editor of the arts review Krino. Besides being a noted poet and editor, Dawe has also published collections of his own essays and reviews. He currently teaches in Trinity College, Dublin.
