The Victoro Emanuele II Society was founded in Haverhill, Mass. in 1891. In 1920, the organization joined the Order Sons of Italy in America as Vittorio Emanuele Lodge No. 1041. It withdrew from the Order during the 1920s, but rejoined in 1932, when it became Vittorio Emanuele Lodge No. 1646. By 1935 the name had been changed to Victor Emanuel and in later years was changed again to the Haverhill Mixed Lodge No. 1646.
