Balkam, U. (Uriah), 1812-1874
Variant namesUriah Balkam served as a pastor in various Maine churches during the mid-nineteenth century. Balkam also served as Chaplain of the 16th Maine Regiment during the campaign of 1864 in northern Virginia. He was married twice; his second wife was Anne S. Longfellow.
