Asa Fuller was born on June 7, 1757 in Newton, [MA], the son of Joseph and Mindwell Fuller. A merchant in Boston during the 1790's, Fuller moved to St. Albans, Vermont around the turn of the century and continued his trade. He served as a state representative in 1808 and 1821 and as a treasurer of the Franklin County Grammar School for many years. Fuller married Betsey Winchester in 1786, and they had six children. There is little more known about him.
