Ballinger Company
The Ballinger Company (fl. 1920- ) is successor to a series of Philadelphia architectural and engineering firms : Geissinger & Hales (fl. 1887-1894), Hales & Ballinger (fl. 1895-1901) and Ballinger & Perrot (fl. 1901-1920). These firms passed on a long history of of industrial projects as well as commercial projects, housing, churches and schools. In 1920 Emile G. Perrot (1872-1954) began his own firm and Walter F. Ballinger (1867-1924) bought Perrot's share of their partnership, establishing the Ballinger Company. The firm was continued under the same name after Ballinger's death in 1924.
