Sir Owen Seaman
Sir Owen Seaman (1861-1936), barrister, poet, satirist and parodist, was Professor of Literature at Durham College of Science, Newcastle, 1890-1903. He joined the staff of Punch magazine in 1897, and was editor, 1906-32. He was knighted in 1914 and made a baronet in 1933.
